Well I did it the wrong way( because I liked the look better)

What you are supposed to do is use rubbing alcohol (or vodka haha) to transfer the newsprint over onto a light colored nail polish (but i found that it looked weak and it made the text backwards)

I however just cut out small sections of newspaper and then made them fit better by trimming them down with tiny scissors.

People apparently print out stuff all the time and decorate their nails with it.

I saw it on tumblr radar 2 days ago and had been dying to do it since.

I could only keep them for a day because the paper wasn’t secured down very well and they were not very practical when developing film in photography class (hands in water/chemicals for 45 minutes)

But I do have many plans for newsprint in the future. :)

in all seriousness, last post, I just have a wonderful feeling that I’m gonna junk up my nails tomorrow before I can take a good picture. (also, I didn’t transfer the text with rubbing alcohol, the words were backwards and faded, I cut and pasted the newspaper right to my nails. I’m either a genius or an idiot! I don’t mind much either way.) night!

Also, here are my Skanky Ke$ha nails. I used the white sparkles then did zebra stripes and tips then I did the sparkles again… very glittery.
